6bc Responsibility:a. Review and evaluate new product designs or changes in existing designs; determine calibrationspecifications, functional, environmental and safety test requirements and need for test equipment and facilities.b. Propose and coordinate design changes to improve product performance and manufacturability.c. Establish and maintain automated test bench, create automated test script.d. Develop software for system testing of appropriate testing units.e. Generate test plans and perform functional, environmental and regulatory test.f. Perform software test and log software bugs into database.g. Prepare calibration and test procedures and related documentation.h. Monitor progress of tests for validity of test conditions, means of measurement and performance of component or unit in relation to specifications.i. Review test results; take corrective action as necessary.j. Perform analysis of component failures; recommend and/or implement approved alternate components or design changes.k. May direct work activities of employees of lower classification and perform other related duties as assigned.Requirement:Working experience in C/C++/VB programming.Working knowledge of safety and EMC/EMI/ESD international standard. Familiar with lab equipments. Working knowledge of related disciplines and knowledge of computer programming methods. Requires originality and independent judgment and evaluation. Working knowledge of GPIB interface is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years experience in the role of test engineer. Previous working experience in optical and cable networking products is preferred. faf
