Provide database backup/recovery 4. Database reorganization 5. Database performance tuning 6. Perform database copy/cloning- Systems Support 1. Backup/Recovery of system data sets 2. Build new systems 3. Install new software releases 4. Apply system maintenance- Support DB2 Data Sharing Sysplex Environment- Provide ICLI support- Provide DRDA support- Provide problem determination and resolution- Special project assignments- On-call real time problem determination and support- Develop, update, manage and document DBA processes and tools.ob Qualifications - Experience with DB2 zOS/390 Database and System Administration in a SAP environment.-Oral English required.-Experience with UDB LUW Database and System Administration in a SAP environment.-Knowledge and experience with the MVS mainframe (JCL, DB2, REXX programming).-Basic AIX Administration skills.-Experience with SAS, ESP, Unix Shell programming, and SMP/E processing.- Experience with EMC TimeFinder or IBM FlashCopy technology- Ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.-Required to participate in the team on-call support rotation and be available for off-shift problem resolution or project related coverage.
