| JOB PURPOSEThe jobholder will be focus on value-added selling and professional technical support to key accounts to both retain existing and grow new business. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESTo achieve sales targets through retaining existing business,making offer recommendations to customers and increasing premium product sales;To implement the key account management strategy effectively to grow our business and acquire new customers;to build and maintain good customer relationships under complex & challenging environment;Be proficient in addressing customers'problems on-site or provide professional technical support for efficient and effective problem handling;To carry out all required administrative work punctually and to the required standard making use of tools such as Platinum net;As an internal consultant to coach and support Account manager/channel manager for effective business development;To ensure customers'credit worthiness and prompt collection of debts.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEA science or engineering degree,preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering;2-3 years of relevant experiences in an Industrial Sales Environment.COMPETENCIESProducts and service knowledge-Good knowledge of tangible goods and services created to satisfy the needs and wants of customers and their role in creating value for BP and stakeholders-skilful application;Industry/Sector understanding-competent and fully credible with the customer as having sufficient industry/sector knowledge to be proficient in current role-skilful application;Customer relationship management-the ability to maintain and nurture customer relationships based on in-depth knowledge of the customers'wants and needs and applying these to ensure profitability realization. Identifies programs to support continual customer satisfaction-skilful application;Account & key account planning-the strong ability to plan approaches, tactics and offers for individual customers with the goal of maintaining BP/Castrol as the preferred brand/supplier-skilful application;Credit Management-the strong ability to manage credit to assess and minimize business risks-skilful application;Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin;Self-driven,motivated.
