The position
This position offers you the special challenge of being responsible for buying motors. Fast development is ensured by the growing of this company in China and by the well established world-leading company in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Project buying
- Sourcing motors and other suppliers in Asia; Market analysis
- Cooperate with German and worldwide company group requirements
- Comparison of the company`s product requirements and supplier capabilities, communicate specifications with R&D department
- Supplier analysis, assessment, evaluation
- Invite and evaluate offers from external suppliers
- Preparation of supplier negotiation (price, delivery time, specification, legal contracts i.e. warranty, liability, …)
- Supplier development
- Order processing
- Control delivery schedule and quality of the supplied products in cooperation with other departments
Requirements:
- University (Bachelor) Degree in engineering (electro-technics)
- Knowledge of (small) electronic motors and mechanics
- Experience in sourcing, ideally in sourcing motors used in laboratory apparatus and medical technology, or electro-mechanical instruments and meters; or mixing, heating, fluid control or similar small machines and equipment.
- Work experience in a foreign owned enterprise or JV in China
- Very good knowledge of English (or German), Chinese native speaker.
- Very good computer skills
- Personality: dynamic, hardworking, sincere, good working attitude & business orientated
- Act on one`s own initiative, working, systematically, according to time management, strategy, planning
